Cody had an amazing birthday extravaganza weekend! It started with a great shopping spree with his mom on Thursday. He came home with what looked like a new summer wardrobe. Two bags full of shirts, shorts, and shoes. And of course he looks great in the new clothes.
Friday was his actually birthday, but he chose to celebrate the birthday on Saturday. Friday was fully of mostly 4th of July festivities. All day long our friends and family took the time to wish him a happy birthday.
Saturday was so much fun. Cody received his golf clubs, Dunlop something or another, and was excited to add to his existing equipment. The middle of the day was spent being lazy and enjoying the fact that we had no schedule to follow. For dinner Cody invited: his mom, Tylin's Mom, and Dad, and his best friend Garet to go to Mac Cool's. Mac Cool's is Cody's favorite Irish restaurant. The festivities for the night happened at a dueling piano bar in SLC, The Tavernacle. It is a great place to laugh and sing at the top of your lungs. Most of the pictures are from the Tavernacle. After finishing dinner, more people meet up with our group at the Taveracle. We spend the evening harassing the piano players, and enjoying good music.
Sunday finished off the great weekend with Josh taking Cody out to lunch, a great roast dinner with the family, and Amanda making "better than sex cake" , chocolate cake with caramel, and sweetened condensed milk coated all over it.
One amazing birthday!
